CANADA SHIPPING SERVICE RESUMES!

DHL service to Canada is back - all backlog orders dispatched!

Canada Shipping Service Resumes!

We are pleased to announce that our shipping service to Canada has now fully resumed, effective immediately!

The circumstances that led to the temporary suspension are resolved, and we have been advised by DHL that mail services to Canada have been officially reinstated. Royal Mail have yet to restart their service, however we anticipate this will be back soon.

Clearing the Backlog:

Thank you all so much for your patience. We know waiting for your orders has been frustrating. We are happy to confirm that all Canadian parcels that were held during the suspension have now been fully dispatched, and the backlog is completely cleared!

  • Tracking updates coming
    You should receive an update with your tracking information shortly if you haven't already.
  • New orders welcome
    Canadian customers can now place new orders for shipment to Canadian addresses without any restrictions.
  • Royal Mail returning soon
    While DHL service is active now, we anticipate Royal Mail service to Canada will resume shortly.

Warehouse Relocation

Important Information on Excise Stock

We are announcing an upcoming warehouse relocation. During this transition, we will face a temporary suspension of our excise duty bond. This bond is the special permission required by the Isle of Man government for us to store certain tobacco products (those that attract excise duty).

Because of this temporary pause, we cannot move this specific bonded stock to the new location. We have a two-week period before the move is finalized. Any of these products remaining after this time will regrettably need to be incinerated under the supervision of Isle of Man customs agents.

What This Means for Our Customers:

To clear this stock responsibly before the deadline, we have priced these specific products at cost (for UK customers, this is cost plus the required excise duty). This presents a unique opportunity for significant savings.

We want to assure you that we are actively working to obtain the new bond status. There will be a temporary pause in restocking these items until the new bond is fully in place. We encourage customers who purchase these specific products to ensure they have adequate stock for the interim period.

URGENT SERVICE SUSPENSION

Shipments to Canada are temporarily halted.

Suspension of Mail Services to Canada

Please be advised of an immediate suspension of all shipping services destined for Canada, effective today. This action is a direct result of circumstances outside of our control involving the postal network.

Immediate Action Required

  • Effective Date: September 30th, 2025 (Until further notice).
  • Do NOT place any new orders requiring shipment to Canadian addresses.
  • Any items received for Canada will be returned to sender.

The suspension is due to a national strike action initiated by Canada Post workers, represented by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). This industrial action has resulted in a complete shutdown of all Canada Post operations.

As Canada Post will not accept new items into their network, and we have been advised by Royal Mail not to send any mail from the UK to Canada, we have no alternative but to implement this temporary service halt.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. We are closely monitoring the situation and will share updates as soon as mail services are officially reinstated.

Backlog Cleared: We’re Back on Track!

Following the recent changes to the U.S. de minimis rule, all shipping to the U.S. was temporarily paused on August 22nd. We’re proud to announce that Mr Snuff was one of the first sites to re-establish shipping, with our first U.S. parcels leaving the warehouse on September 16th.

Since then, our dedicated warehouse team has worked tirelessly to get your orders moving. From September 15th through September 25th, they have dispatched a total of 2,008 parcels, with a single-day high of 339 orders shipped! We're thrilled to report that the very first batch, picked up on September 16th, has already been delivered to customers under our new 7-working-day express delivery service.

A Note on Shipping Costs

We understand that our new shipping costs are high, and we want to be fully transparent about why. This new structure is designed to provide you with the fastest, most reliable service possible in light of the recent rule changes.

  • Seven-Day Express is Our Current Option: To resume shipping as quickly as possible, we had to reconfigure our service to conform to the new rules. This means that a premium 7-working-day express service was the first and only option available. Please know that we are working diligently to re-implement our more affordable shipping rates and hope to introduce them in the near future.
  • Your Tariff is Pre-Paid: To eliminate any nasty surprises for you, we are currently absorbing the total tariff cost. This means the price you see at checkout is the final price, you will not be hit with any additional fees when your package arrives. We pay all tariff charges in advance, which also helps your parcel pass through customs smoothly and quickly, further reducing delivery times.

A Look Ahead: We are committed to making shipping more affordable and convenient for our U.S. customers. Our team is actively exploring additional options, including the possibility of a dedicated U.S. warehouse, to further streamline our service and reduce costs.
