At first I was not a fan of this snuff. I put it away and came back to it to find my tastes have matured a bit. Very earthy barnyard scent I wasn't fond of at first I now like a lot. Great moisture great cut easy on the nose tho I would prefer more of a burn but pretty solid all around.
Compared to some of the online reviews my tin was exceptionally moist. It too me.. feels damp and dark followed by a rich flower that I can feel way back in my neck. A mossy heavy leaf that grows. Maybe it's just me being new to moist and dark snuffs or just a young tin, but I can pile loads of this stuff into my nose. As I nipped around at the overflowing 20g tin the ink of the "Thors Hammer" text wiped off entirely. I think it's the first snuff I reach for it's Vit. N hit. It's drying out slowly like me.
I love this stuff. Reminds me of fresh cured leather and the smell of Grandpa's tackroom. One of my favorites. I plan to keep a can ready
Thor's Hammer is a snuff that would make all of the gods of Asgard smile. Truly, I was surprised by just how good it is. The combination of the fine grind and moderate moisture gives it a pleasant feel, almost like well-milled flour. Unlike its namesake, the aroma of Thor's Hammer is subtle, like upturned garden earth and ground chocolate. It's incredibly smooth on the uptake, making it easy to take pinch after pinch. This is when the hammer's blow falls -- this snuff delivers a powerful dose of vitamin N! If you're a fan of tobacco-forward, non-mentholated snuffs, you owe it to yourself to give this one a try.
