While the description is incorrect (This blend contains -NO- Rustica) This Bavarian Schmalzler is the epitome of German tobacco-craft, with warm cocoa and fig with overtones of banana and a dark sweetness that doesn't cloy, followed by rich tobacco and nut finish.
Beginner or expert, if anyone is wanting to try an original German-style schmalzler, this is the one for you.

I wanted to share my feedback on my recent order.

First of all, the service was excellent. The website is easy to use, the ordering process was smooth, and the delivery was fast and reliable. Everything arrived well packaged and exactly as expected. No complaints at all on that side — really great experience.

However, I have to be honest about the product itself, especially the Aecht Altbayerischer.

I bought this same snuff a few years ago in a physical shop in Germany, and back then it was absolutely amazing. It had a deep chocolatey aroma, earthy notes, a rich and rounded character, and a perfect moist texture. It felt full, balanced, and very natural.

Unfortunately, the current version is very different. The first thing I noticed was a strong ammonia-like smell, and the complexity of the aroma is just not there anymore. The chocolate and earthy notes that made it special seem to be gone. The texture also feels less refined, and overall it doesn’t have that “round” and smooth character it used to have.

Even the packaging and label quality seem to have declined compared to what I remember.

So while I’m really happy with your service and would definitely order from you again, I have to say that the product itself feels like it has lost a lot of its original quality over time.
